Our premium retractable ostrich feather dusters with a gloss casing utilize very soft (floss) feathers that come from the feathers found under the ostrich bird's wings (Similar to Down Feathers on domestic geese). They are softer and longer than our "standard" retractable dusters also found on Amazon. The genuine ostrich feathers come from the Western Cape region of South Africa (the area known internationally to have the best ostrich farms), and are assembled in the USA.
