From Our Family to Yours Blackberry Patch creates delicious handcrafted, small batch fruit syrups, toppings, preserves and salsas. Our Beginnings Founded by farmers in 1988, Blackberry Patch harvested local fruits and used time-honored Southern techniques to make jams, jellies and syrups. The company's goal then was the same as it is now: to make handmade, small batch, high-quality, goods using real fruits and family recipes. In 1999, Randy Harvey and Harry T. Jones, a pair of entrepreneurs with more than 40 years of combined business and food industry experience, acquired Blackberry Patch and began expanding the product assortment, as well as pursuing wider distribution.
