BML Heel Spur Cushions (Small, Brown [Soft])

Designed for the relief of subcalcaneal heel pain caused by heel spurs. The cushion is placed in the shoe with the insert removed and with the relief facing down. The result is support to the entire heel but with reduced pressure beneath the area typically affected by heel spurs. Two cushions are provided so that the unaffected heel is elevated to the same degree, resulting in correct pelvic balance.These heel wedges are made from long-lasting shock-absorbing flexible PVC material, available in three densities and two sizes.

They are wedge shaped, sloping from back to front, with the thickest measurement at the back at approximately .35" and the thinest at the front approximately .16". The backs are rounded to fit the countour of a shoe's heel and the sides are parallel.

SMALL: Cushion is 2-1/4" wide, 3-3/8" long, with the spur relief centered at 1-3/8" from the back.

LARGE: Cushion is 2-5/8" wide, 3-3/4" long, with the spur relief centered at 1-1/2" from the back.

Densities - The material comes in three different densities, color coded.

Red (D60) - Very firm with little give. Surface is low friction, almost slick.
Brown (D40) - Soft, with plenty of yield under impact, yet supportive. Surface is high friction, almost non-slip. Our most popular style.
Gray (D20) - Super soft, almost gel-like. Material surface is very high friction, feeling almost tacky.
