Mate (pronounced 'mat-ay') is a traditional south American tea. It is highly nutritious hot beverage with a musky, yet herbal and deeply satisfying flavour. We sell this tea loose so we strongly advise straining the leaves after it has been brewed. Use approximately 1 teaspoon per 1 cup of water, and enjoy its deliciousness.
