The origin of Cacao (Theobroma Cacao) is considered to be the moist tropical forests of Central and South America, as well as the Amazon basin. Cocoa is a perennial evergreen tree with a widely spread, densely leafy crown, which in nature reaches 12 meters in height. The bark of the cocoa tree is brown.
