Our 3" Cinnamon Sticks are a rusty brown color and can be used in many ways, like steeping in cider or grating into recipes to impart a rich cinnamon flavor. These sticks come from the species Cinnamomum burmanii (also known as cassia) and are cultivated in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. This well-known spice comes from a type of evergreen tree. Can also be spelled cinammon, cinamin, cinnammon.Suggested Use: Use in puddings, cakes, cookies, breads, drinks, curries, meat and game, stews, vegetables, and stewed fruits. Cinnamon is an ingredient in Chinese five spice powder and the Indian spice, garam masala. Ingredients: Cinnamon. Basic Prep: Add whole cinnamon sticks to hot drinks.
