The origin of Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is considered to be the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor. The stems are low, straight, loose and branching. The root is rod. The leaves on the stems are petiolate, with ovate-oblong leaves. Fenugreek blooms both at the beginning and in the middle of summer. The flowers are small, located on short pedicels. Seeds are square or rhombic; the color of the seeds is from light yellow to brown.
