Knorr Gravy Mixes are easy to prepare--simply mix well with the directed number of cups of water and heat over the stove for the directed number of minutes. Serve over your favorite dishes. Recipe Idea: Smothered Balsamic Onion Steak Ingredients 1 Tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Spread 1 large sweet onion, sliced cup balsamic vinegar 1- cups water 1 package Beef Au Jus Gravy Mix 1 tsp. firmly packed dark brown sugar 1- pounds boneless sirloin steak, grilled or broiled to desired doneness Directions
1. Melt spread in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 10 minutes.
2. Add vinegar and cook 1 minute.
3. Stir in vinegar, water, and gravy mix; bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
5. Serve over sliced steak.
Tip: Also makes a great topping for burgers.
