Description
A tibor is defined by the Spanish Language as a large clay or porcelain glass, generally in the shape of a vessel and decorated externally. In the religious slang these containers are called "soups" because they were used in Cuba to serve soup or store liquids. The soups are used as sacred receptacles of the Orishas where they rest their foundations and are worshiped. The soups are characterised by their beauty and the association of ornaments and colours that correspond to the Orisha that inhabits them.
