Green Carolina Reaper Chili Pepper is the immature pod of the Red Carolina Reaper BUT it is still fiercely hot! It's unique fruity flavor adds complexity to any dish in addition to intense heat. Won the "Hottest Pepper in the World" by Genesis Book of World Records in 2013, it still packs a powerful heat at 1.5M to 2M (SHUs)! The Green Carolina Reaper (past the heat) has a flavor that is earthy, fruity and similar to a 7 pot chili pepper with hints of sweetness, cinnamon and chocolate. As with any reaper, use with caution as it's heat is a classic "creeper heat". The heat intensifies after eating so start with a very small taste test and wait about 5 for your taste buds to catch up. Our chili peppers are selectively handpicked and inspected. All natural.
