Stevia is a natural sweetener and sugar alternative that is over 100 times sweeter than sugar. There is no promotion of tooth decay when using Stevia and there are ZERO calories per serving! This organic Stevia is a natural extract which comes from the stevia plant and does not create blood sugar spikes, so is safe for those with blood sugar imbalances or sensitive to artificial sweeteners. This ingredient may be added to foods and beverages or for commercial applications and is a fine white powder 95% extract. PFL Non-GMO Pesticide Free powder extracts are not ETO Treated or Gamma Irradiated. Some typically gummy, oily or damp extracts require an anti-caking agent to maintain its powder form. Non-GMO and/or Organic Cassava (yucca) maltodextrin is typically used, in as small amounts as possible. If used, PFL will list it on our label.
