Description
Our freshly dried rosemary from Turkey is extremely flavorful. Its a fragrant evergreen herb with needle-like leaves and white, blue, purple, or pink flowers. Its member of the mint family. It has hints of mint, lemon and pine and twinges of black pepper and bitterness that gives it depth. Fun fact: The name derives from the Latin words ros (dew) and marinus (sea) giving it the romantic dew of the sea. Its often used in grain and mushroom dishes, poultry, lamb, pork, steaks, oily fish and game and in hearty filling soups and casseroles.
