Its time to add a new grain to your cupboard classics! Yupik Organic faro is an ancient, whole grain that we recommend be soaked for a few hours (up to overnight) before cooking. For every cup of faro, use 2 cups of water (or stock) and cook for approximately 40 minutes. Nutty in flavor, faro is chewy and firmer in texture than rice. Faro is ideal for both baking and cooking.
