Zenith Zoysia is a warm season grass that is common in the southern region of the United States. In the northern areas of the US, the growing season is much shorter than a bluegrass or fescue, but can still be found due to its dense carpet that prevents weed growth. The Zenith has an aggressive growth pattern, allowing it to spread and take over undesirable weeds and grasses. It uses less water than a bluegrass or fescue and in general requires less maintenance. However, it does require a high amount of mowing due to its thick canopy.
