His farm proves that a hand-tendered cheese can be produced in concert with modern dairy farm technology. Sweetwater Valley's Buttermilk Cheddar is all about the aftertaste. Up front, it is a mild cheese like any other. As it moves back on the tongue, however, its character becomes more defined. The tangy snap of buttermilk comes alive as this smooth textured cheese slides down your throat. Enjoy it with grapes or apple slices as a midday snack. It is also a great melter!
