For each portion cup of kefir grains, In a glass jar, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with a hearty teaspoon of molasses with 30 to 32 ounces of room temperature spring water, for each portion cup of grains. Cover lightly and place in a warm area away from direct sunlight. Allow to ferment 3 to 5 days. (taste test along the way to best determine doneness).
