Description

At Cone 6 in oxidation, Sand Dollar presents as a satin, opaque, cream-hued glaze, featuring white and gold mottling. It reveals a glossy transparency over texture. Under Cone 10 reduction, the glaze transitions to a glossy, variegated lavender purple with white micro-crystallization, breaking blue/grey over texture. It offers enhanced mobility. Note: This glaze flows freely at three coats. To avoid unwanted running, anticipate glaze movement with a receded application on vertical surfaces.
