Zingiber, more commonly known as ginger, is the name given to a set of plants used in many parts of the world for their medicinal and culinary properties and garden ginger is perhaps the best known. There are a number of ways to use ginger in the kitchen whole, stems only, flowers only, candied, dried and powdered and cardamom and turmeric are mistakenly thought to belong to this plant family too but neither is a true ginger. Aromatic ginger herbal treatments are effective in dealing directly with complaints of the digestive system especially those due to excessive intake of food and milk, cold drinks, bloating caused by fruit, abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting.

These seeds are from our small farm in Puerto Rico. We specialize in organic products and our farm have 30-40 trees or plants for each variety just to get the organic seeds.
