• ActivHeal Non-adhesive Tracheostomy Foam wound dressing is sterile, non-adhesive highly absorbent wound dressing with a fenestration, which allows the dressing to fit neatly around a tracheostomy tube. ActivHeal Tracheostomy Foam Dressing consists of hydrophilic absorbent polyurethane foam with a perforated wound contact layer. The dressing is laminated to a pink, low friction waterproof polyurethane film, which provides a bacterial barrier.
• ActivHeal Non-adhesive Tracheostomy Foam wound dressing is an absorbent dressing that can be used to fit around a tracheostomy tube and is indicated for the management of fluid, secretions or exudate build up associated with the use of tracheostomy tubes or drains. The dressing can also be used around intubation and cannula insertions, external bone fixators and appropriately sized wound drainage tubes.
• Not made with natural rubber latex.
• ActivHeal Non-adhesive Tracheostomy Foam wound dressing can in situ for upto 7 days, dependent on patient condition, the level of exudte.
