Halloumi is a very unique cheese in many ways. It's exceptionally high melting point makes it perfect for grilling or frying, it will maintain its texture and consistency through many quick cooking application. It is also one of very few cheeses that uses no acid or acid producing bacteria during its preparation. Try halloumi grilled and drizzled with honey or with slices of melon. Halloumi is sold as packaged logs. Logs are approximately 1.8 pounds
