Bugleweed (Lycopus Virginicus) grows in the eastern regions of North America, especially in Virginia. Lycopus Virginicus is a species of flowering plant in the mint family known by many common names, including Virginia water horehound, American water hoarhound, sweet bugleweed, Paul's betony, woodbetony, and Egyptian's herb. Bugleweed is a perennial herbaceous plant with square cross-section stems up to 35 cm tall. The leaves are bright green, opposite, lanceolate, almost sessile. The flowers are gathered in axillary brushes and have four-membered purple corollas.
