- REUSABLEWhen the color turns dark green, its time to be reactivated or replaced; Place the silica gel beads in a shallow container and put them in the oven at 250 for 2 or 3 hours; If the color does not completely return to orange, sift the beads a little and heat for another hour; Do not heat silica gel to more than 356 (180 C) because it will lose its ability to absorb moisture, and destroy the indicating chemicals. Beads can be recharged up to 2-3 times while maintaining full absorbency
